Performance Appraisals


Performance appraisal is something that most of us have to deal with regardless of our attitude toward or opinion of it.  Mr. Robert Bacal, a management consultant presents a very perceptive view of the process in an article dated September 30, 2000.  It appears in "Themestream" newsletter.

Mr. Bacal states that: "Performance appraisals aren't fun.  But a lot of the time they are agonizing because managers do really dumb things, ending up destroying a process that is important to everyone (or should be)."
