The following pictures were made while staging/preparing a 6-position (20 feet) unit for shipment to Kansas City, MO, for installation as a buried unit. This unit is our standard pit-blind product, with the exceptions of hinged seat covers, and an off-season closure/lockdown cap that was requested by the customer. Other designs utilize this Model 4820-6 unit (less closure/lockdown cap and hinged seat covers) as a baseline. It is shown without camouflage and roof (in some views), which are stored for shipment.
Garage door tracks are used to provide a stable support assembly for the sliding roof/door assemblies. The roof/door assemblies utilize steel-channel stiffener supports to improve sag resistance.
This design shows hinged seat covers/lids. The standard product is provided with a seat cover/lid design that is a removable cap that slips down over the seat body. The hinged lid provides convenience, but the cap design is more stable and durable. The hinged seat cover/lid is by special order.
The anchoring system will be determined upon placement of order. It is determined by customer, based upon place and method of installation desired.
