Butler Class of 1956 Socials
A group of classmates ("The 56 Bunch") has met for several years at 3-month intervals at Mullins Restaurant, Andrew
Jackson Way. The scheduled months are January, April, July, and October. The meetings
are held on the third Tuesday of the month at 12:30 p.m. Many enjoyable
socials have been spent remembering a very unique
period of experience in our lives. This is a great way to "keep in
touch" and learn where our classmates have been, what they have done, and are now
doing. You also learn that you
are not alone in your
"ailments," and are reminded of people forgotten
about, or that you were barely aware of, but who were very much aware of you and
interested in you and what you were and what you have been doing since those
"glorious years." Perspectives
of the past can be altered in a very pleasant and surprising way. Since
the socials/meetings started, several classmates have passed on, including some
of those who had been faithful attendees of the meetings. View a list of
