The S. R. Butler High School, Huntsville, AL, Class of 1956, held a 53rd anniversary reunion picnin on May 16, 2009, at Tate Farms in Huntsville.

The S. R. Butler High School Class of 1956 held a 45th anniversary reunion party at Ditto Landing on June 16, 2001.

The S. R. Butler High School, Huntsville, AL, Class of 1956, held a 50th anniversary reunion party in 2006 at the Huntsville Botanical Garden (2 June), Huntsville Country Club (3 June) and Mullins Restaurant (4 June).  Music on 3 June was by the Charlie Lyle Band (the same band we had 50 years ago and at the same location).
